I visited Colombo, Sri Lanka, in November 2015. It was supposed to be my honeymoon, but it was more like sick leave. The reason being I fell severely ill at this hotel and had to be hospitalized for a day. I had a high fever, stomachache and felt dizzy when I reached there at wee hours from the airport.

View from the OZO, Colombo Hotel

When I woke up in the morning, I witnessed this magnificent view of the giant sea. I was elated, but my sickness was taking a toll on me, so I couldn’t enjoy it completely until the next day. This was the same view from the restaurant too.

Drinks at the Roof Top Bar, OZO Colombo.

I couldn’t enjoy alcohol either because I recovered before few hours and was behaving sober. My ex-husband liked to order a glass of Red Wine for himself, and that drink (I have forgotten its name) in the red color was deliciously consumed by me.
